I just hit 500 subscribers on YouTube! Funny, because it only took me over three years to reach this milestone, and as a filmmaker that is a long time! But I am proud, because I decided that I was going to stop neglecting my YouTube Partner Channel in 2010…I had this great resource, a monetized distribution channel for my independent work, and I was letting it go to waste.

Phew. I just wiped my brow of three weeks of learning HTML and CSS. Which is no easy feat for someone who would prefer to read than code. It was a great learning experience - frustrating, challenging and ultimately very rewarding. I feel like I have expanding my skill set, developed a new-found appreciation for the internet and created a kick-ass site representing myself as well!
